Sima Pashtun de Eos Mexico Estudio
Sima Pashtun es una alfombra diseñada por Mauricio Lara y Sebastián Lara, del Estudio Eos Mexico, inspirada por las antiguas alfombras tradicionales. Hecha con la misma técnica que se usaba en el Tibet, desarrollada hace 3000 años.
En Abril 2011, se presentó en el Museo Franz Mayer de la Ciudad de México, el proyecto generado por Jaime Odabachain "Enlazando Historias-Anudando Ideas". Después de un año de arduo trabajo se tejieron a mano en la India 18 tapetes diseñados por un grupo importante de creativos mexicanos. El evento fue coordinado por la empresa Círculo Cuadrado.
La pieza de Eos Mexico llamada "SIMA PASHTÚN" (Sima: cavidad grande y profunda que se abre en la tierra) parte de la modificación geométrica en la perspectiva de un clásico tapete paquistaní-persa, logrando crear un efecto visual que engaña al ojo.

This Rug was exhibit at the FRANZ MAYER museum at México DF in the first exhibit of it’s kind in Mexico and Latin America. Furthermore, the hand-woven rug is a very clear metaphor of all the materials and abstract ideas that come together to be manifested on to such an ancient craft.
