Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, Seoul

Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, ubicado en Seúl, expone obras tradicionales y modernas de arte realizadas por artistas coreanos e internacionales. El museo en sí es tan fascinante como las obras de arte en exhibición, ya que sus tres edificios fueron diseñados por los arquitectos de renombre internacional, Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel y Rem Koolhaas.

El MUSEO 1, diseñado por Mario Botta, alberga obras de arte tradicionales coreanas, como la caligrafía, pinturas, cerámica y la artesanía en metal, mientras el MUSEO 2, diseñado por Jean Nouvel, muestra el arte contemporáneo y moderno por artistas coreanos e internacionales.

Rem Koolhaas es el autor del Samsung Child Education and Culture Center, edificio adyacente del complejo dedicado a actividades para los más pequeños.

Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, located in Seoul, exhibits traditional and modern works of art by Korean and international artists. MUSEUM 1 houses traditional Korean works of art, such as calligraphy, paintings, ceramic arts, and metal craftwork, while MUSEUM 2 displays modern and contemporary art by both Korean and foreign artists.
